Couldn't be Happier with this watch
I'm by no means a watch expert but I did think long and hard about the prospect of buying an Omega vs TAG vs anything else. When all was done, I opted for the sportiness yet elegance of this TAG he decision came down to Grand Carrera or Carrera Day Date. I chose the Day Date and made a great choice. I get compliments on it all of the time. The size of the monstrosity took a little getting used to especially the height of the watch at 16.5mm. My business partner went with the Omega Planet Ocean -- Although also a great watch. I simply like the aesthetics of this watch. One last thing - it's the one of the only TAGs, if not the only TAG that actually has both the DAY and DATE displayed. Amazing detail. 
Great addition to my Tag collection
I like the look of this Tag more than the others I have. This model is sporty yet able to be work at the office or at client locations without appearing "flashy" like some in my collection including Breitling and Rolex thus far (I'm hoping for a Philip Patek one day). The only regret I have is purchasing the watch on a cruise ship for almost $1,000 more than what I am seeing this watch listed on Amazon. True buying a watch from an authorized dealer (which Amazon is not) of Tag is a nice thing - you still have a great warranty from Amazon. The issue may arise however down the road when the watch is sold - that person is going to want to see all of the documentation for this watch including the authorized dealer materials.
